Public Awareness Actions And Dissemination Of Results
- Erection of Project Notice Boards.
- Project Website with all relevant information on line and regularly updated
- Layman’s report in English and Greek.
- Erection of one hide for nature watching. The hide will include interpretation panels with the birds that can be observed at the site inside.
- Construction of footpaths leading to the hide.
- Information point near or under one of the hides with awareness raising material
- Photo competition and exhibition, and album with photos from Oroklini and awareness raising event. A competition that will lead to an award event that will raise awareness about the site amongst the local community.
- Information and consultation meetings and visits to the site for the local community
- Volunteer ‘Clean Oroklini Day’ for raising awareness amongst the local population and involving children and adults practically in doing something for the lake and getting to know it
- Awareness raising material Oroklini, including a video, leaflet and sticker for the site
- Educational pack for schools to be distributed to teachers
- Workshop for teachers about Oroklini Lake and Natura 2000
